Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026
DadKick (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the DadKick mobile application.
Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use DadKick:
- Account information: Your email address, used for authentication and account management.
- Pregnancy data: The expected due date you provide, used to personalize your weekly content and timeline.
- Profile details: Optional information you enter yourself, such as your partner’s first name, whether this is your first child, and your time zone. The time zone is used to send notifications at a sensible hour where you are.
- Usage data: A record of certain actions you take in the app — opening the app, viewing a week, opening the paywall, and completing or restoring a purchase. Each record stores the action, the app version, the platform, and a session identifier that is regenerated every time the app launches. We use this to understand which parts of the app are useful. We do not record the content you read, anything you type, or your precise location.
- Progress data: Which weekly checklist items you have completed and which sections you have read, used to show your progress and streak.
- Subscription data: Purchase and subscription status, managed through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider.
- Push notification tokens: If you enable push notifications, we store your device token to deliver weekly milestones, daily tips, mission reminders, and other notifications you have opted into.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide personalized pregnancy content based on your due date.
- To manage your account and subscription status.
- To send push notifications you have opted into.
- To understand which features are used, so we know what to build and improve.
We Do Not Track You
DadKick contains no advertising, no advertising networks, and no third-party analytics or tracking software. Usage data is recorded in our own database and is never combined with data from other companies, never used for advertising, and never sold or shared with data brokers. This is why the app does not ask for permission to track you across other apps and websites — it does not do so.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate DadKick:
- Supabase: Our backend infrastructure provider, used for authentication, data storage, and server-side functions. Your data is stored securely on Supabase’s infrastructure.
- RevenueCat: Our subscription management provider, used to process in-app purchases and manage subscription status. RevenueCat processes transaction data through Apple’s App Store.
- Expo: Provides the push notification token for your device and relays notifications to Apple for delivery.
- Apple Push Notification Service (APNs): Used to deliver push notifications to your device.
- Resend: Delivers account emails such as password resets. Resend receives only your email address and the contents of that message.
Each of these providers processes data solely to operate DadKick on our behalf. None of them are advertising networks or data brokers.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers. Your information is only shared with the third-party service providers listed above, solely for the purpose of operating the app.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/SSL). Your account is protected by secure authentication through Supabase.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We will process your request within 30 days.
Children’s Privacy
DadKick is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
